#2 Once Upon a time In Hollywood Quentin Tarantino’s love letter to the golden age of Hollywood is a celebration of the early days of filmmaking with Tarantino’s signature touch of colorful characters, dark humor and ultra-violence. The unbelievable chemistry of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, brilliant storytelling and jaw dropping ending, makes Once Upon a Time in Hollywood a classic in the making and one of Tarantino's best films since Pulp Fiction.

#3 Us - After the success of Get Out, Jordan Peele’s follow up Us is one of the most original and visually striking horror films of the decade and a testament to Peele’s creative mind in the horror genre. With excellent cinematography, exceptional writing, shocking twist and Lupita Nyong’o performance as both the protagonist and antagonist make Us a must-see film for horror fans.

#4 Toy Story 4 - Despite having doubts that this entry will reach the same height the third film did, Toy Story 4 exceeded all expectations with great storytelling and beautiful animation. The character developments of Woody and Bo Peep and the introduction of Forky, Ducky, and Bunny are what made this entry another classic for Pixar.

#5 Rocketman - This autobiographical film of Elton John is an original take in the genre presented in a musical format with Elton's music and fantasy element he's known. Taron Edgerton steals the show portraying Elton John, and the musical numbers are well crafted, making the film a highlight for 2019.

#6  Ad Astra - This science-fiction epic is one of the smartest films of the year as the journey of a man going to the far reaches of space is a captivating movie to watch. With an incredible performance by Brad Pitt, the beautiful cinematography and captivating storytelling make Ad Astra a must-see film that begs to question are we alone in the universe?

#7 John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum - Keanu Reeves returns as the titular hero with an exciting addition to the John Wick films and another action classic. With incredible fight choreography, new characters (Halle Berry, Asia Kate Dillon & Angelica Houston) and the plot makes this and the whole John Wick series action film classics.

#8 Ready or Not - Ready or Not is a bloody, darkly humorous and jaw-dropping cat and mouse game film that reminiscent to classic horror/comedy films such as Cabin in the Woods and Zombieland. The movie brings something fresh to the horror genre, and it's all thanks to the clever writing, Samara Weaving's show-stealing performance, and graphic violence.

#9 Spider-Man Far From HomeTom Holland has proven once again that he is the best Spider-Man in film today and Far From Home is an exciting film to watch after the emotional Avengers: Endgame.  Jake Gyllenhaal performance as Mysterio is fantastic, the action sequences were impressive, and Peter Parker's journey after Endgame is suited for the character and the future of the MCU.

#10 Booksmart - Olivia Wilde's directorial debut is a funny, over the top comedy that resembles the buddy film Superbad but with women instead of men. With great chemistry from Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever, Billie Lourd's hilarious performance as Gigi, and the witty humor makes Booksmart a comedy triumph and an impressive debut for Oliva Wilde.
